Election reform

I was a poll worker during the 2016 primary and general election. I saw the 'discrepancies.' I saw people magically registered to the wrong party. I saw people who showed up to vote but never received their ballot in the mail. These citizens were forced to vote provisionally. During our day long training, poll-workers are informed that provisional ballots are solely used for the poll workers' safety. In other words, instead of poll workers saying "sorry you can't vote" and facing the understandable anger from the voter. We can say "here is a provisional ballot." Provisional ballots are not counted they are for the safety of the Poll worker. We need Same Day Registration to avoid the 'discrepancies' mentioned above. We need Ranked Choice Voting (Vote FOR someone! no more fear based voting). We need a Committee of Citizens to hand count votes. We need an extra eye on voting machines. Check out the documentary below to see the major problems with voting machines. We need alternatives to the main stream media so that 'official' vote totals can be trusted. We need recounts to be allowed and free for the People, because they are OUR VOTES! As opposed to 'recounts' we had in the 2016 election, which costed millions of dollars only to be cancelled after the payment. We need Proportional Representation and open debates, so that candidates from all parties are heard.

I support Move to Amend. The goal of Move to Amend is to enact the 28th Amendment, also known as the "We the People Amendment." This amendment would overturn citizens united supreme court decision, which gave corporations way too much power to purchase elections and candidates. Money is not speech!

Isn't it odd that California delayed SDR until after 2016 election?
